Happy Thirsty Thursday! Ever drank a cocktail using a Twizzler as a straw? If not, you will soon! The candy cocktail this week is the Twizzler Lemonade Cocktail.
Twizzlers are a fan favorite for little kids, and grown up kids too! Trust me, you will have so much fun slurping this drink through a Twizzler straw, and the best part about it, is that you can eat the straw when you are done!
This cocktail takes a bit of preparation....two weeks to be exact. To get the Twizzler taste in the alcohol, it must be infused for two weeks. How to do it?
*Take 3 Twizzlers and insert them into any 8 oz. bottle of vodka.
*Let sit for 2 weeks.
*Within these two weeks, the vodka will absorb that yummy Twizzler flavor and turn from clear to a reddish hue.
*Remove Twizzlers from bottle after the two weeks have passed.
Then.....Make sure you have these Ingredients:
*The 8 oz. infused vodka
*Twizzlers
*4 oz. Lemonade
*Ice
To concoct the drink:
*Fill a glass with ice
*Pour 4 oz. of lemonade and 1 oz. Twizzler infused vodka in glass.
*Garnish with Twizzler, make sure to cut off the ends so it can be used as a straw
Although this drink takes some preparation, it's worth the wait! That Twizzler taste that everyone loves makes the drink tastes just like chewing a Twizzler, with a splash of lemonade. YUM!!!
